Why does it ask me to type the distance instead of using a map?
Map lookups cost money per request, which would mean either charging for the calculator or showing you adverts. Typing the distance keeps the app free and completely private.
My MPG figure gives a different answer than I expected.
Check whether you want MPG (US) or MPG (UK). A UK gallon is 4.55 litres and a US gallon is 3.79, so the same MPG number means roughly 20% different fuel use. Most apps only offer the US version; this one has both.
Can I enter numbers with a comma instead of a full stop?
Yes. Commas, full stops, and Arabic and Persian numerals all work.
Where are my saved vehicles stored?
Only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere, which also means they do not transfer to a new phone.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, entirely. The app never connects to the internet.
